On-screen, Lee has appeared in Law & Order: SVU, FBI: Most Wanted, and Dash & Lily (Netflix). Onstage, she’s performed at Ars Nova, Magnet Theater, and the PIT. Lee was recently an acting mentee in Lena Waithe's Hillman Grad Mentorship Lab.
Born and raised in New Jersey, currently based in NYC, she began her life in the performing arts as a dancer training at the School of American Ballet, Alvin Ailey, and graduated from Professional Performing Arts High School. She went on to perform with various contemporary dance companies, namely Sidra Bell Dance New York. In this past life, Lee also taught and choreographed urban and contemporary dance, including a brief stint on MTV’s America’s Best Dance Crew.
Lee found her way to acting through elective classes while getting her BA in Psychology at Kean University. Combining her degree in Psychology and background as a dancer, Lee has worked extensively as a teaching artist for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities using creative movement and theatrical improvisation to foster self-expression.
As a writer, Lee’s work has included sketch comedy (The PIT), short films (Asian American Film Lab), and most recently a mentorship under Giant Leap’s inaugural accelerator program.
Lee fills her spare time watching TCM and British cozy mystery television. She finds talking about herself in the third person strange but wants you to know her therapist is very proud of her.
